Welcome to Discovery School web page.  Both the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Curricula recognize children as active learners, eager and curious scholars filled with a spontaneous interest in learning, creating and experimenting. Social development, combined with a hint of academics, is the essential ingredient of our Pre-Kindergarten program. Daily classroom activities and interactions allow children to learn about themselves, their peers and the world around them. Through play and simulation of real life experiences, children test ideas, solve problems and learn to cooperate with one another. They also develop communication, motor and cognitive skills.  Expectations remain high that Discovery School will maintain its excellent program.  Standardized test scores have risen significantly and the children are well prepared, both academically and socially, for entrance into first grade.

Code of Conduct
Parent/Guardian(s) are to read and discuss the information on the Code of Conduct paper with your child. Then sign and return the appropriate form to your child's classroom teacher. Come to school to learn and learn to get along.
